A few weeks ago we were talking about childhood desserts with our good friends. One of them reminisced missing his grandma’s banana pudding. I’d never had banana pudding and frankly thought it was just banana flavored vanilla pudding. But no, I found out it was far more glorious. They were coming back in a couple weeks so I just had to recreate this dessert and surprise everyone. It was a hit.
The base – vanilla pudding & cream cheese. I have only recently started making banana pudding and I really enjoy this simple recipe. It pairs well with so many things. My friend Terri makes a delicious eclair with vanilla pudding and I pair it with homemade chocolate sauce.

The cookie part. These honestly are so delicious on their own and made nutritious by using fresh milled wheat. They’d make amazing ice cream cookie sandwiches or a base for smores if you want to whip up extra.

Then finally it’s really just about mixing up those 2 main things, making some fresh whip cream, and layering it up with some bananas.

I hope you enjoy! Let me know in the comments your favorite childhood dessert you’d love to recreate to make biblically clean and healthified.
