I absolutely love making an inviting home, but I don’t have tons of cash to spend on decorating. One way of being diligent with our money is finding free decor or cheap ways to make home decor. For displaying artwork above our couch, I took a piece of baker’s twine, some clothespins, and then hung artwork from it. I have made some of the printables. The pictures are my kids drawings. The animal and plant cards come from nature books by Julie Rothman.
The little scripture cards come from my friend, Gina’s unit studies. I highly recommend Honeycomb & His Handiwork for your younger kids. They’re so gentle, nature promoting, and based in Scripture.
So I thought I would share this little printable I made of the 10 Words (Ten Commandments) for our home to add to yours. You can simply print it off on a regular sheet of cardstock paper. You could also print it an 8×10 or 5×7 side and put it in an old frame to reuse. If you do use it, I would love if you would post it in the comments or tag me on Instagram.
Updated in October of 2024 to reflect the ancient Abarayam (Hebrew) pictograph and pronunciations. Enjoy!
