We will be camping 11 days for Sakut/Sukkot which is the Feast of Tabernacles. We are commanded to keep it for all generations as His people, Yashar’al (Israel). We were grafted into the Olive Tree that is talked about in Romans. It’s the REAL best time of the year.
Here’s my tentative list for this year. I thought I would share it in case anyone wants any ideas. If you have any other ideas feel free to add. I don’t add things like individual fruit/veggie sides to each meal.
I also uploaded a blank one if you’d like to add in your own dates and your own meal plan. I find it very helpful to have a plan. It’s okay for it to be flexible, but this way I know what I need to use for which meal and I’m not using up all the chicken that was for a different meal for lunch and being out of sorts 2 days later. I keep 2 coolers – 1 is filled with fruit/veggies for children to grab and go. The other is full of meal ingredients. This keeps me organized and a little structure helps me when I’m out of my comfort zone without a kitchen.
This is just a list that we are putting together of ideas for things to do. What are you all reading and studying for your Scripture time as a family or fellowship?
Do you have organized activities? Any you would like to do from this list? What others would you add?
